15 in a row for Seymour
Robin Seymour (Team-WORC) took an amazing 15th title in a row in the Irish XC champs seeing off young contendors Conor McConvey (McConvey Cycles) and Niall Davis (IMBRC) leaving them to finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

*note --if you are in race 2 sign on closes at 12:30 without fail.  This is in order to facilitate the inputting of details into the computer timing

Race 1 - 12:00pm

Underage & sports

Race 2 - 13:30pm

Vets, Masters, Experts, Juniors, Elite Woman & Elite Men

Please check at sign on for your exact start time.  Please note races will start exactly on time so be at the start area at least ten minutes before your scheduled start.

Entrance to the race is not the same as the K Capital earlier this year.  Please take the Bray South/Greystones exit off the N11 as per the map below.  The race HQ will be sign posted from the N11 from both directions.  The gates will not open till 1pm on Saturday so please avoid coming any earlier as you won't get in.  You will then have three hours to practice those lines that will give you the edge on Sunday.  Riders must be signed on and display their race number and being wearing a helmet before practicing on the course.


One day licenses are available on both days.  If you own a license please bring it with you otherwise you will have to take out a day license.  For riders riding elite you will need a full license to quailify for UCI points as this is a UCI CN event.


Please note there is no access outside the advertised hours to Kilruddery as it is a private working farm.

Course will be sign posted from the N11.  Please note the course is on private land and there is no riding outside the advertised hours. Note the start area is Belmont house which is not the same start area as the round from the K Capital cup earlier this year.

IRISH MTB XC NPS RD 3-MAGHERAMORNE, LARNE
Round three of the Irish Mountain Bike Cross Country NPS takes place this Sunday 25th May, at Magheramorne Quarry near Larne in County Antrim, promote by Team Madigan.  This vast expanse, owned by the Lafarge Company, formerly the Blue Circle Cement Works, was first used last year for a round of the NPS.  The venue may not be what is classed as ‘normal’ mtb terrain, no forest etc, however the course features a number of technical challenges.

RAT RACE ARRIVES ON THE EMERALD ISLE
The Rat Race reaches Ireland. The much-loved event, having experienced runaway success in Britain, is now set to reach the shores of the Emerald Isle with 2 new and exciting events planned for Galway and Belfast this summer.  Coming to Belfast for the first time and operating from an event base at City Hall on 09th August, the Rat Race sees competitors running, biking, kayaking, abseiling, climbing and navigating their way around the city in a course that is only revealed hours

XCO NPS #2 CARLINGFORD FOREST -4th of May
XCO NPS # 2 is in Carlingford Forest, starting and finishing in the Top Carpark in the Forest north of C'ford Village, Co. Louth

Featuring a course designed by top Vet Aidan McDonald, and The Bull McCabe's. It is the same course used last year during the K-Capital Series.

The Categories and entry fees as usual. Laps will be decided on the day as we all know the weather can make a big difference.

Sign on will be open on Sunday from 9.00am
